HISTORY
Château Couhins is located in Villenave d'Ornon, at the gateway to the city of Bordeaux. Classified a great growth in
1959, Château Couhins belongs to INRA, the French National Institute for Agricultural Research, who saved the vineyard
from disappearance by acquiring it in 1968. Château Couhins has set an example for environmental protection thanks to the advanced research in sustainable viticulture that takes place there. The second wine Couhins la Gravette is made with the same care and passion as the first wine and can be drunk in his early age. The red wine comes from a gravelly rise typical of the appellation.
