Syrah vines are harvested at full maturity and are blended with Cinsault. Syrah to express its richness and  Cinsault for its bright and lifted fruit.

A deep cherry colour hue. Very expressive and complex nose of red fruits (blackcurrant) and spices with a hint of mint and vanilla. The wine is powerful. Ne-ertheless, the tannins are round and smooth. The palate is well balanced between fruit and oak aromas. Perfect with red meat, stew, game casserole and cheese.

Dashwood Pinot Noir displays a dark ruby red colour with inviting aromas of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry. Red fruits carry to the generous and juicy palate with hints of spice and smooth elegant tannins giving the wine length and poise. Paired perfectly with fresh pasta or smokey BBQ dishes.

The color of Château Mercier is concentrated, with a dark heart. Intense, the first nose exudes aromas of blackcurrant and violet that let a powdery floral of almond hinting at lilac blossom. The whole leaves an impression of delicacy and softness. The attack on the palate is round and concentrated, but gives way to a lovely fruity freshness. The mid-palate is velvety and delicate. The finish, elongated, is airy and elegant.

Its dress shines with a deep garnet. The nose of currants and ripe blueberries is already expressive. On the palate, it is a very nice balance between energetic and lively fruits and pleasant and round tannins.

Ruby red colour with garnet hues. Generous spicy nose balanced with aromas of red fruits. Ample and silky mouth feel, with pleasant melted tannins.

Deep dark color hue. Very complex nose of black fruit (redcurrant, blueberry) and spice aromas with a hint of menthol. The palate is rich and well-structured with a nice freshness.

A complex and layered wine, with a deep ruby colour and a generous nose of pure cherries and red fruits. On the Palate, it is balanced, round, and linear. It is fresh with a lovely fine-tannic structure. Éminence Pinot Noir is partially oaked in French oak barrels before blending, providing a truly gastronomic experience. 

Robust enough to accompany roasted meat, risotto, and hearty stews perfectly. 

Deep ruby red with a concentrated bouquet of ripe fruit and cedar notes showing the 24 months extensive barrel ageing.

A wine that is still a little discreet on the nose, but once aerated, delivers aromas of ripe red fruits on a background of charred wood. The mouth reveals itself to be ample, rich and concentrated, and upheld by silky tannins. Best enjoyed after a few years of ageing in cellar.

Appassimento LuLi is a full-bodied wine. Intense deep ruby red. Wild berries on the nose, red flower, aromatic herbs, humus and eucalyptus. Very fruity in the mouth, well-balanced, mouth-filling with a great persistence. 

Great with First courses with meat sauce, polenta, grilled meat, buffalo stews, medium and aged cheeses.

GRAPE VARIETY Negroamaro, Syrah and Cabernet

The word Villages on a Côtes du Rhône label indicates a step up in quality and wines of richer fruit and depth. That is certainly the case of this top vintage Cairanne red - lush and velvety with long blackberry ripeness.

Vina Alarde Gran Rioja Reserva displays a deep ruby red, and offers aromas and flavors of red fruit, tobacco and toast, derived from its oak and bottle ageing. Harmonious and smooth, but also full and meaty, it presents a full range of pleasant sensations in both the nose and mouth.

This wine is very balanced on the palate with noticeable but mellow tannins and nice acidity. The ultimate easy-to-drink wine. There commended food-and-wine pairing: most meats, but it also makes an interesting match with boards of charcuterie.

Expressive with gooseberry, exotic fruit, black pepper and hint of peony. Round and generous with smooth tannins.

Pair with Beef stroganoff, Coq au vin and grilled meats.

From 100% Susumaniello, it is deep ruby red with purple shades. On the nose gives red and black fruits, a gentle zesty sensation, red flowers and hints of spices and tobacco.

It has an intense red color. It is complex, rich and elegant to the nose, with intense aromas. It shows good ageing with the tannins of a big wine and brings to mind ripe fruit.

On the nose, our Mâcon reveals aromas of red and black fruits. On the palate, it is balanced between roundness and freshness with both greedy notes and floral touches, notably peony.

This wine uses 100 % Syrah grapes handpicked and aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Dark cherry colour with aromas of plums, fresh berries and a touch of spice. Ideal with game dishes, stews, grilled meats, cheeses and cured Iberian sheep.

A hot year, allowing the grapes to reach excellent maturity, which gave smooth wines, characterized by a dark, intense and deep color. The nose is complex, fruity, floral and fresh. The aromas of fresh figs, blackberries, red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, as well as the noble violet characterize this great vintage. Tasting delighted by the power, richness, volume and density of each sip. Endowed with a very great balance, it is the alliance of power and delicacy, maturity and freshness.

A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, split equally, with 2% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The vines are closely planted and are on average over 25 years old. Showing a classic Médoc character, the grapes for the wine are pressed in an old vertical press and after small, relatively low temperature batch fermentations, the wines are aged in French oak: 20% new. Ripe, complex fruit character with a fleshy palate and integrated oak spice.

A Malbec mixed with 12% Cabernet Franc from Los Chacayes that spent a year in used French barrels. Rich purple in the glass, this is all fresh plum at first, followed by blackberry, herbs and an enticing hint of mint that turns sweet in the mouth. Taut and light-footed, delivering good body, fresh flow and a lengthy finish. Seems to get skinnier as it goes along. A rewarding wine.

Ripe, dark fruit flavours roll effortlessly across the palate. More blackberry and blood plum with coffee and mocha notes in support. Supple with a deliciously earthy twang to its ripe and finely textured tannins. Fresh acidity, adding mouth-watering brightness to the generous fruit flavours.

A medium to full bodied red with a delicious core of dark fruits wrapped in a satisfyingly earthy package.

Domaine Gayda Figure Libre Cabernet Franc is opaque, perfumed with fragrant black cherry, cassis and spice. Full bodied, intense with countless layers of flavour including blackcurrant, cedar and graphite. Dense fruit on the palate is bound by a structure of fine grained tannins and a lively acidity. This wine shows great depth and character and yet is refined with a long, elegant finish.

Barbera may be given the Asti appellation Superiore only if it has been aged in oak casks or barrel for at least 14 months.

Deep red with violet highlights. Intense deep ruby color with matching highlights. The nose demonstrates violet, rich cherries, typical of the Barbera grape, spices, and balsamic hints. The palate full-bodied with a lasting finish.

It is wonderful with typical specialties of Piedmontese cuisine, such as 'agnolotti', grilled meat, stewed meat and aged seasoned cheeses. Serve at 16-18° C.

A rich and full-bodied Syrah displays aromas of dark plums, sweet cassis melded with hints of orange oil, soy sauce and peppered wild game. The palate displays silk like texture with flavors of baker’s chocolate, blackberry cobbler, salted toffee, and a touch of black olive tapenade.
The wine has a flesh like finish that lingers with beautiful notes of oak and a touch of wet stone.

Goes well with Rib-Eye Steak au Poivre, Leg of Lamb Shawarma, Cider-Maple Pork Chops with Woodland Bitters Compote, Edam or Parmesan.

Textbook Pinot Noir; Intense red colour with purple hints and a bouquet of fresh red fruits with a hint of spice and vanilla. Light bodied, with purple hints and a bouquet of fresh red fruits with fine tannins carrying through the finish

The nose is slightly powerful/rich. It reveals notes of cassis and fresh wild blackberry associated with slightnotes of Cuben pepper, spices, cacao, woody notes as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background) and undergrowth. 

The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers a beautiful mineral/juicy frame, a slight acidity as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy black cherry and slight notes of plum, raspberry associated with a discreet hint of red berries as well as slight hints of spices and toastedoak/sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.

80% Merlot ; 10% Cabernet Franc ; 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

In fire-fighting parlance, a “tillerman” steers the back of a hook & ladder truck. Our founder, Cecil De Loach, held this position in the San Francisco Fire Department. The Tillerman red blend exhibits a deep purple, with notes of ripe wild berries, black cherry, and baking spices on the nose. Layered flavors of black currant and raspberry lead to a long finish of spice and dusty cocoa.

The wine reflects all the wonderful elegance of great Graves – smooth tannin, refined cedar and raspberry aromas, great finesse on the nose and the palate, and lovely aromatic complexity.

Deep ruby colour, with garnet shadows. Aromas of mature red fruits, with balsamic and spicy notes. Warm and elegant, with fruit, coffee and cacao aromas.

Our Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Vigne au Roy Rouge has a magnificent colour, with a nose of blackcurrant, blackcurrant buds, very floral. More fruity on the palate, with aromas of small berries, such as raspberry, an energetic and greedy wine with a touch of mint. Nice structure on the finish.

Dark ruby, clear & bright. Lifted aromas of mulberries, dark cherries and pulped raspberry flesh are supported by brief, fleeting glimpses of river stone and earthy spice. A sense of fineness and control hints at the age and quality of fruit. Flavours of dark bramble fruit and spice provide some early mouth filling texture. These persist and are seamlessly enveloped and supported as they travel through the mouth by a super fine tannin frame working around and with the fruit to ensure some genuine balance and controlled focus to the palate. Bright and tight in its youth.

95% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino

Chemin de Moscou Rouge is deep purple, almost opaque in colour with an expressive nose of black fruits, pepper, cinnamon, spice and violets. A seductive palate of dark hedgerow fruits, very open and welcoming with an explosion of fruit and spice. Mineral undertones.

This is a big wine, with an intense red color and brick hues. It has an excellent combination of aromas from its ageing and the grape varietals. It has an excellent structure and complexity with a long finish.

Intense and complex nose with lots of black fruit and 'garrique' and well blended wood! On the palate a powerful impetus with great smoothness and roundness. The fruit intensity charming and most pleases. The final is long and shows again the complexity.

A straight forward ruby red colour, slightly tinged with mauve highlights. Aromas of small red fruits. Pleasant and firm texture, round and flattering on the palate, carried by an ice acidity that allows it to age a little.

Beautiful deep ruby color. The aromas of black fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, and red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, blend harmoniously. Dark ruby color, an ample nose of berries mixed with strong toasty notes, a delicate fruitiness on the palate with shades of wood, a nice balanced structure, presence of extracts, tannins still well marked with a pleasing roundness.

A blend of Carignan, Malbec and Syrah. Deep violet in color. The nose is attractive and intense with a range of aromas from the different varieties in the blend, including nuts such as hazelnuts, dates and dried figs, as well as floral notes recalling jasmin and roses. The Palate is sophisticated, intense and juicy and complemented by chocolate, coffee and tobacco leaves. The finish is long and ripe with velvety tannins.

Purplish red color with intense reflections. Nose with black fruit aromas, cherry type. In mouth, we find notes of small fruits, which makes it a very greedy wine.

The 2015 Gigondas Olivier Ravoire is a relatively modern style effort. Its deep purple/ruby color is followed by impressive notes of cassis, spice and sweet oak. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a forward, charming style.
