Arguably one of the greatest producers of the sweet, amber nectar know as Sauternes, Chateau Suduiraut created the Lions de Suduiraut as a younger, fresher and lighter version of it's top wine. The vineyards border those of d’Yquem’s and are planted with predominately Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. The Lions de Suduiraut is an ideal introduction to the style and is blended to be velvety, fresh and ready for immediate consumption. Think ripe apricot, marmalade, zesty peel and hints of vanilla and honey. Luscious!

This Chardonnay opens with a quiet intensity of fresh Golden Delicious apples and ripe pears scents, followed by hints of baking bread, allspice and mandarin peel. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers mouth-filling spiced apple flavors with a satiny texture and a racy backbone, finishing long and savory.
