Recognisably salmon pink in colour, The Ned Pinot Gris showcases classic aromas of quince, pear drop and vibrant stonefruit. The palate is lush with juicy nectarine and Braeburn flavours supported by an underlying hint of spice that leads to an unctuous ripe finish.

An expressive bouquet of lime zest, punchy herbs and gooseberry. The fleshy fruit core is focussed by a backbone of lively acidity, carrying classic varietal characters to a lengthy finish.

Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc displays a pale straw hue with a green edge. Punchy Sauvignon Blanc aromas show the elements from these two major sub regions of Marlborough.

The wine offers lovely fragrant aromas of poached pear, jasmine, peach and subtle spice on the nose, followed by a beautifully rounded palate that is fruit expressive and smooth. The wine delivers excellent varietal characters with a lingering refreshing finish.

A serious, concentrated and expressive wine, Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc ­flaunts a powerful bouquet of tropical fruits layered with grapefruit and melon. The wine is crisp, balanced and elegant with a distinctive mineral note that holds up well to rich, spicy foods.

Dashwood Pinot Noir displays a dark ruby red colour with inviting aromas of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry. Red fruits carry to the generous and juicy palate with hints of spice and smooth elegant tannins giving the wine length and poise. Paired perfectly with fresh pasta or smokey BBQ dishes.

The cool weather of the Awatere Valley brings out the brilliant aromatics in Pinot Gris. The bouquet of is a beautiful compilation of fresh Doyenne du Comice pear intertwined with hints of honeysuckle and spice. The palate is rich, with bright fresh acidity and attractive red apple and pear flavours. Along finish with natural notes of saline minerality.

Pale straw color. Aromas of fresh asparagus, marjoram, passion fruit, magnolia blossom, and marmalade with a round, lively, fruity medium body and a tingling, complex, long meyer lemon and candied ginger finish with no oak flavor.

Vivid aromas of white peach, candied grapefruit and ginger result from partial botrytis infection of ripe Sauvignon Blanc fruit. The palate is plush and sweet upfront with a lingering finish of citrus and fresh beeswax.

Delicious aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry liquorice and dried oregano with a fragrant all spice lift. The fleshy, sweet-fruited palate boasts opulent tannins, notes of smoky French oak and a long juicy finish.

Single Vineyard PAPA is typically, fresh, zingy and vibrant.
Vavasour 'Claudia' has now been renamed 'PAPA', which is named after the soils in the region.

Fermented in old oak, the palate exhibits luscious stone fruit flavours with an underlying mineral note which is typical of this vineyard.

Almost creamy like in texture. Long ripe pear, dried honey, herbaceous cedar and spice after taste. Awesome wine!

Vavasour Papa Pinot Noir has a generous palate of dark cherry, plum, and violets. A savoury complexity and silky smooth finish speaks clearly of the Awatere Valley. 

Single Vineyard PAPA Chardonnay [ previously Vavasour Anna ] from the Awatere Valley is a lively, elegant, serious Chardonnay.
The grapes for this wine are carefully selected and hand-picked. The fruit is then whole bunch pressed to seasoned French oak and fermented with indigenous yeast and aged 14 months

The palate is elegant in proportion, but very concentrated with fresh, bright citrus fruits that have a luscious note, some tropical fruit hints, nutty oak and racy, minerally acidity. Very fine textures carry the line to a long nutty, toast infused citrus fruit finish.

Match with grilled seafood and poultry

A wine full of fresh herbal aromas and layers of ripe guava and tropical fruit. Gooseberries and passion fruit on the medium-full body; the palate is succulent and crisp with a long flavoursome finish.

Superbly refreshing served chilled on a sunny day, this is also a great match for meat or vegetarian stuffed peppers.
